Noted for its great performance both on road and off, the Goodyear MV/T is a popular tire for military FMTV’s and lighter-duty MRAP’s.
These full-tread 395/85 R20 Goodyear MV/T take-off tires were previously mounted on rims, but never load-bearing or installed on a vehicle.
Additionally, most tires will have a lubricant residue on the inside, a byproduct of the runflat inserts many were installed with. This water-soluble runflat lubricant is easiest to remove by scooping out the majority of it with a soft plastic putty knife or cardboard, and then following up with a nylon scrub brush and mild soap and water to remove the remaining lubricant.
