The Goodyear MT oz’s in this listing are military take-off’s that were originally installed on Humvees or used as M1101 trailer tires. While they still have over 90%+ of their original tread depth remaining, they are being sold at a discount due to their age (2008 DOT).
They may also have very minor nicks or scuffs from prior use, and occasionally light paint over-spray (or other markings) from contractors that would sometimes recoat the 2-piece wheel assemblies after mounting. However, they still have no discernable weather checking or dry rot yet, and would work great on farm or mud trucks, skid steers, off-road trailers, or for use as low-cost spares!
Most tires will still have varying amounts of runflat lubricant on the inside, a byproduct of the rubber runflats they were originally installed with. This water-soluble lubricant is easiest to remove using a soft plastic putty knife or thick cardboard to scoop out the majority of it, and then following up with a nylon scrub brush and mild soap and water to remove any remaining residue.

This shipping method has the fastest turnaround time, with most orders shipping out the following business day — and sometimes even that same afternoon! Once shipped, UPS transit times typically average 2-5 business days for the lower 48.
UPS will also be the cheapest option for residential and non-commercial deliveries up to 6 or 7 tires, and will still be more cost-effective than LTL for most orders of 3 to 4 tires when shipping to a commercial address. However, it’s worth noting that for commercial addresses without a forklift or dock — or with limited semi access — UPS will likely be cheaper than LTL for shipments up to 5+ tires.

LTL Truck Freight
For larger quantities, LTL truck freight tends to be the most economical shipping method available. This will also typically apply when an order of 4 or more tires can be shipped directly to a commercial address with adequate semi access and a forklift or dock, or when arrangements can be made to ship the tires to a nearby LTL terminal for pickup.
However, LTL rates must be quoted manually by a specialist to ensure accuracy. All four were 2009’s and were in excellent condition with no cracks and more than 90% tread life, they even had the new tire nubbies (on the sidewalls, not the treads). Dustin took alot of time to answer my questions beforehand and what he described was exactly what I got. I am extremely pleased with what I got and would purchase from Feltz again!
